We are looking for an experienced e-commerce website developer to technically fix, optimize and enhance an existing online store. The project includes improving website performance, resolving slow loading pages, fixing checkout or abandoned cart issues, reviewing payment gateway functionality, repairing broken links, correcting layout issues, cleaning unused scripts/plugins, optimizing images, and resolving theme or plugin compatibility issues. The work also includes improving the customer journey and UI/UX, enhancing product page layouts, improving navigation and filtering, setting up analytics and conversion tracking, applying basic SEO improvements, strengthening website security, and ensuring forms and contact channels work correctly. The ideal freelancer should have strong experience with WordPress/WooCommerce or similar e-commerce platforms, PHP, JavaScript, CSS, responsive design, payment gateway troubleshooting, website speed optimization, SEO metadata, analytics tracking, plugin/theme debugging, and full checkout testing across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
